Corporate Web Design

30+ Corporate Web Design Examples

A good corporate website has to convey information to its users in a clean, direct and usable way. It has to capture the purpose and feel of the company while still appearing professional to be able to get a lasting and solid impression from its clients. However, many corporate websites share three common things with other people’s children. They are charming, sometimes useful and admired only by those who made them.

The importance of user experience in a corporate web design is known to many designers but it is much harder to hammer this fact home to the corporate world. Although design trends are going into the business web, the process goes on very slowly. In spite of their ready access to vast financial resources, many businesses are happy with sterile designs that are more monotonous than a museum piece.

Layouts, color palettes and graphics are all essential in a corporate web design. A serious ambiance for example could be achieved by dark colors while an image of trust could be formed by blue hues.

To give you a better understanding of corporate web design, I have compiled a list of more than 30 examples and presented them in this post. Take note that the insight you could get from these corporate web design examples may not be apparent immediately. My compilation is more on the design solutions that are exhibited by each site, rather than on visual appeal or aesthetics. The fact is that even the best corporate websites are not as visually stunning as you might expect. Thus, if you do not find my list immediately appealing, take the time to click on each More Info link and interact with the websites. Also note that a lot of powerful business website have been build using WordPress and I think this has to do with the amazing amount of business themes and feature rich plugins.

It looks like more and more websites have full backgrounds nowadays. Some of them are really clattered with info, one has no menu but all in all are good corporate websites
